Workshop Description
Desktop
Computer workshop runs in conjunction with yearbook
workshop. Students receive intense individual instruction. Computers need to be
upgraded to PageMaker 7.0 or InDesign 2.0 for all 2008 yearbooks.
Bring your own computer/monitor, connecting cords and software-including manuals.
Photography
Photography workshop runs in conjunction with the yearbook sessions resulting in
time devoted to technical and creative aspects of photography.
Beginning and advanced students will learn concent and composistion with
hands-on photo shoots and critiquing sessions.
Bring your 25mm or digital camera.
Film is provided.
Digital camera users supply their own smart card.
Additional $30 charge for each photographer
Other Information
Housing will be in the Auburn University Dixon Hotel and Conference Center.
Rooms will be assigned and keys issued upon arrival.
Please inform us in advance if you have any special rooming requests.
Auburn Univeristy housing is limited. Boarding participants will be housed in the
Conference Center on a first come first served basis.
All meetings take place in hotel.
An advisor/sponsor should accompany each group and reside in the hotel.
Meals will take place at several local restaurants.
