I know that many of you can not make the 3-day summer yearbook workshop in Auburn.  So I am pleased to once again offer a series of one-day mini-workshops across the state again this fall.  I hope that you will invest in your yearbook program and consider joining us.  Your choice to attend shows your commitment to the education of students and to the preservation of the unique memories of your school through the tradition of a Yearbook.

Our theme this year is “ALL IN”.  Students and are becoming increasingly more diverse and engaged in a variety of ways.  Where’s the should all be INcluded, where do they ALL matter?  The Yearbook!  All ages, all passions, all technologies will be our inspiration to help you create the most INclusive yearbook ever.

These one-day workshops are specially designed for yearbook advisers and staffs. Sessions will include visual discovery of the key journalistic and design components that are part of all great yearbooks.  Participants will also be introduced to Yearbook Avenue and the basic steps to design yearbook pages online (hands on sessions in Phenix City and Demopolis; demo only in Jacksonville).

The agenda will also have a session for best practices regarding promoting yearbook and ad sales.  All workshops include lunch. The specific agenda along with start and end times will vary based on location, so simply email me to “pre-register” for a location.  If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.
